Moisture separators also called water separators, cyclone separators, mechanical separators or centrifugal separators, use centrifugal motion to force liquid water out of compressed air. The spinning causes the condensate to accumulate on the walls and when the condensate gains enough mass it falls to the bottom of the separator’s bowl where it pools in the sump until it is flushed out of the system by the automatic float drain valve.
Water contamination is a real problem, SPIN AQM's range of silicone-free water separators can deal simply and effectively with the problem. Typically, water separators are installed downstream of after coolers and air receivers, refrigerant dryers and at strategic points in pipe work installations. The design utilizes a finned internal spinner which removes large quantities of Aluminum body condensate and particulate by centrifugal action.

Activated Carbon Adsorbers are used in the most critical filtration applications for the elimination of residual oil content, odour producing compounds, toxic non-polar compounds, foreign particles and organic 3 contents from the compressed air even with very low residual levels as low as 0.003 mg/m . It filters out even the finest oil vapour which may already be present in the intake air to meet the highest standards of compressed air quality.
